Competition date: Friday the 5th, Saturday the 6th & Sunday the 7th of October
Condition for participation:
Proof of membership by valid national Federation passport with ETU/WTF membership. All contestants have to proof their age and nationality by presenting their passport or identification card at weigh-in.
Those who are not recognized as adults by law in their own country must submit a passport or identification card together with a written consent (liability declaration) of their parents or lawful guardian accepting the participation and all parts of the official invitation
Method of Competition Single elimination tournament according to WTF Competition Rules.
Age categories: Juniors male and female: born in 1995 to 1998
Seniors male and female: born in 1995 and older
Juniors, who were born 1995 may compete as a junior or as a senior. Competing in both categories (juniors and seniors) is not allowed.

Senior female -46 kg, -49 kg, -53 kg, -57 kg, -62 kg,

Junior male -45 kg, -48 kg, -51 kg, -55 kg, -59 kg,
-63 kg, -68 kg, -73 kg, -78 kg, +78 kg
Junior female -42 kg, -44 kg, -46 kg, -49 kg, -52 kg,
-55 kg, -59 kg, -63 kg, -68 kg, +68 kg
Team registration: Registration must be made ONLINE by TAEKOPLAN via www.tpss.nl
DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS: AT THE LATEST - 25th of SEPTEMBER 2012.
Registered entries after Dead Line will not be accepted!
Entry Fee: Entry fee is 45 € per competitor.
Entry fees should be paid during the registration of the athletes before the
tournament on Friday the 5th of October
TIME TABLE
Friday –October 5 Registration & weigh-in at the:

17:00 – 21:00 hrs (local time) for all competitors
Each contestant has to pay 20 Euro for changing his weight division.
After taking part at the official weigh in, changes of weight classes will not
be allowed!!!
Saturday – October 6

08.00 - 12.30: Elimination rounds
12.30 - 13.30: Lunch break
14.00 - 18.00: Elimination rounds, quarter finals & semi finals
18.00 - 19.00: Finals / award presentation

Liability: All competitors of the Ukraine Open Cup participate at their own risk. The
registration application implies that the contestants agree to assume all
responsibility for themselves and to release all others from all and any liability
which may directly or indirectly result from the Ukraine Open Cup.
Referees: Only International Referees will be accepted. However an Official Invitation for
the Referees will be sent to participating Federations.
Conditions for Referees: Round trip airfare shall be born by each participating referee. The Organizing
Committee will cover Hotel and Full board accommodation from 2012-10-05
(check in from 16.00) until 2012-10-08 (check out before noon: 12:00).
The allowance will be 200 $USA for 2 days.
Referee meeting at 21.30 Saturday (October 05) in the Official hotel for the
referees.
Closing date for Referees registration is September 20 th 2012 (registration
through e-mail: office@ftu.com.ua )
Protest Only the official coach is a allowed to protest, immediately after the end of the contest. An amount of € 100 (Euro) will have to be paid for each protest.
The decision of the referee chairman is final.
Equipment The Organizing Committee will provide to the participating contestants in Senior, Junior categories DAEDO PSS, Electronic Body Protectors. Head gear, groin/forearm/shin guards and gloves, mouth piece, DAEDO sensing socks are compulsory and must be brought by the contestant for their personal use.
Participating contestants are required to wear WTF-recognized doboks and WTF-recognized protective equipment. Any contestant who wears unofficial doboks or protective equipment will not be permitted to compete.
First Aid Will be provided by the organisation and is only to be used in case of an emergency!
Insurance The organisation and supervisor assume no responsibility for teams, any damages, violence, loses and injuries during the stay in Ukraine. All contestants must bring their own documents and forms for any medical treatment in Ukraine.
Accommodations Accommodation charges for room and boarding of the teams will be born by the participants.
Transport Organizing Committee will provide transport for those teams who will book rooms in Official hotel. Transport will be provided from Kharkov airport/railway station to hotels.
If you need transportation from Hotel to sporthall, Organizing Committee will provide transportation.
The cost for transportation (to/from sporthall - Hotel) is 25 Euro per person for 2 days.
Notice Teams who will arrive to Kiev airport (Boryspil) can come to Kharkov by train or plane. Organizing Committee can propose to provide transport (bus) for extra charge for teams who will wish.

Payment Entry Fees and Accommodation must be paid in cash during the team registration on Friday October 5th .
Visas All teams who required visa invitation should send their request to the Ukrainian Taekwondo Federation (office@ftu.com.ua) with names, date of birth and passport-No. of all team members, competitors and officials (if possible, please send a word file as e-mail attachment). Organizing Committee will send invitation letter for visa to Ukraine.
